Week 2


Terrain


The terrain was built in blender using geometry nodes to give the plain mesh a terrain-like texture, when we were satisfied with the desired map, we exported it as an FBX file and imported it into Unity. We used unity to give the map a grass and dirt material based on the height levels of the terrain.

created a small scene where I built a small set piece and added glow to the headlights. I also scattered assets to try and make it feel lived-in and atmospheric visuals using A volume to add camera effects for bloom and colour correction. I will be making changes to better fit the theme of the game and from feedback from the group. utilized

Navmesh and basic follow AI 


Car Camera Movement and Enter and exit


Interaction system enhanced




Refined to reduce the ray cast needs for interaction and item highlighting into a single script with one raycaster, employing a simple shader rather than boosting the object's emission.
