Reimplementing systems 

Owing to an issue with the rendering pipeline that demanded the main scene's reconstruction, we've had to devote our time to this imperative task.

We were required to re-import and re-associate everything, and create new prefabs for virtually all assets.

Item system fix/update

Updated the item system to work better with interaction system and items

Unity update

Migrated to a newer more stable version of unity

Bug Fixes 

  • Fixed if you enter then exit the vehicle to quickly you would be moved to the corner of the map
  • Fixed enemy pathing as they previously got stuck easterly on uneven terrain
  • fixed enemies spawning on the roofs of buildings
  • weapon reload issues and interaction tweaks

Environment

Removed grass Despite enhancing the visual aesthetics, the grass compromised performance and induced issues, thus it's presently been extracted.

Integrated props and additional vehicles into the terrain and introduced another quaint town.

Gameplay

Implementation of weapons, thirst, and hunger, utilizing tangible bullets and ammo.
