Week1/2 barrel and lighthouse

very keen to start work and learn some blender 

worked through the Blender tutorials provided and then made my barrel using SirPinkBeard Blender Barrel Tutorial and additionally Grant Abbitt's Make A Low Poly Barrel - Beginner Tutorial using the combination of the two allowed me to achieve a  barrel in low polly style and uses my iPad to draw the texturing,

for my first portfolio model i chose The Mersey Bluff Lighthouse that is located near Devonport as its a a relatively simple shape and is a interesting landmark it isn't quite finished but ill be working on it a bit more in the future.
